Only when they are clinically necessary. X-rays are taken on Visit 1 if Dr. Castillo determines they are needed to accurately assess your spinal structure — which is the case for most new patients. Guessing with the spine is not something we do. Seeing what’s actually happening structurally is what allows us to give you an accurate diagnosis and a care plan that makes real sense for your situation.
No — and that’s intentional. Visit 1 is entirely focused on evaluation: your consultation, examination, posture assessment, and X-rays (when clinically necessary). Chiropractic adjustments are only recommended after Dr. Castillo has fully reviewed your findings and determined the appropriate approach for your spine.
Any adjustment recommendations will be part of your personalized care plan, which is presented at Visit 2. We believe in doing things right, not rushing care.
